Before you move forward, we want to make it very clear that I am not an expert on investing, saving, or any other aspect of financial literacy but I do have some experience and above all a true passion for providing resources and education to my community. I have done a lot of research over the past few years and have interviewed some amazing people on my previous podcast that gave me and my listeners some great information.

I dig this app. It's a super easy way to start saving & investing. All you really do is connect the debit or credit cards of your choice to your to your Acorns account and it automatically starts to save the change left of from each transaction. The transactions that get saved for you are called "Round ups" because that's exactly what it does, it rounds up the change until you reach $5 or more and then it withdrawals it from your bank account into your Acorns account.
